How have you all been? It's been a while, hasn't it?
I've been kept busy the last few weeks. Trying to get things working with "university" in cologne, my birthday was up and last weekend I went to Düsseldorf to meet Shou-chan from ♥スイートミルクコヒー♥.blogspot.com!
I went there directly after work. It took about 5 hours by train, so I had time to end reading a book and everything. First I was a little be nervous about the meeting. Actually we had never met before, so we both didn't know if we would get along well. Even though I was in a positive moot 'cause we've always had good times writing to each other. Now in conclusion I can say, that I'm very happy that I met her! She's a lovely girl and has great sense of humour! I enjoyed meeting her and didn't want to leave on Sunday.. but sadly I had to because I had work on Monday again.. buhuu!
What made me kinda really happy was when she said that she thought I wasn't as tall as I always claimed to be. Haha, sounds strange I know, but that kinda made me really happy!
So on friday, because I arrived pretty late, we didn't do anything special besides cooking and talking. On saturday, before we left, I did her hair in a sujimori style. I had never tried it on anybody else than me. I didn't make it very voluminous beause she said that she didn't want it to be too big. So I tried my best with just hairspray and no hairwax.
This is how it turned out (front & back):
I was really happy she liked it!
There was even some woman on the train, who asked us how we did her hair, if it was some kind of a trick, haha :D She said that she thought that it was some kind of a hairband! Really funny! She complimented us for the hair, that it looked really good! I was somewhat proud to hear that haha :D
As soon as we got off the train we made our way to the street with the japanese shops to take some purikura. I was REALLY lazy on that day relating to my styling. I didn't do any kind of special styling. No hairdo, no gorgeous make-up, no special clothing. I just felt too lazy for it all. It takes such a big effort to do something good-looking with my thin hair, that I decided to just stay quite normal that day. Besides the fact that I'm now quite used to looking normal since my apprentice-time is over and I have to work 5 days a week. Side note, I work in a pretty conservative swiss bank and I'm not allowed to wear too strong make-up nor shorter clothing, sleeveless things and so on. That's one of the reasons I haven't been styling myself a lot lately. I think that will change as soon as I'm free to go whereever I want!
We strolled around the shop where the purikura thingy is. The goods in the shop are really overexpensive! So I ended up buying, NOTHING! :D
Here are 4 of the purikura we took there. I'm so normal looking, rightoo?
Afterwards we went to some store with japanese food to buy things we needed to cook japanese curry. I had told Theresa that I wanted to go to the Königsallee to the Tiffany & Co store because I have been searching for a necklace of 50cm/20inch length like an idiot. It should be identical to the one I already have (short one) so I can wear 2 necklaces at the same time without looking stupid. Because bouth pendants and the short necklace are from T&Co I wanted to go ask there for a 50cm long necklace. I wasn't able to find one in any jewelery store in Basel (identical one). The seller told me that they were sold out right now, tadaaaam! AGAIN!.. bah! Gotta order one in the T&Co store in Zurich I guess. If the necklaces just wouldn't cost already enough, urgh! D:
Well yeah, because I have been looking out for a wallet lately we went to take a look at the ones at LV and Gucci. I didn't want to buy one, because they're so expensive, but stupid me ended up buying one at Gucci's when I had a short BRAINTILT/Brain404/Brainerror!!
Anyhow, I love the wallet!
Here some pictures:
I also bought this cute little bowl x 2, which I already own in a more little size.
When we finally arrived at home we started cooking japanese curry. Because Theresa doesn't yet own a ricecooker and her cooking panels aren't really easy to regulate the heat one, we had to constantly stir it. But in the end (it took ages 'til food was ready) it was really yummy!
In Switzerland you can't find Dunkin' Donuts. So I was just like, OMG OMG OMG! let's get some donuts there! And because she loves donuts herself, what did we do? YES! We bought a 12-pack donuts! Gosh! Sooo many! Sadly they didn't have the standard-donuts with just sugar on them. Don't ask me why, but I just love them the most. So that was our dessert. Of course we weren't able to eat all 12 of them! Besides I didn't really like the pink ones. For my taste they tastes too "artificial". Not the strawberry/raspberry-taste I like. Just not natural enough. So Theresa ended up eating them. We ate the last donuts on sundaymorning haha
And this is kind of what we (seen on her example) were looking like after we had eaten:

Lying on the ground on her lovely fluffy carpet (I really loved it! So I was lying on the ground all the time haha) stuffed with japanese curry and donuts. Anyway we found some time, after some rest, to take pictures together. We just wanted to hold onto the sweet memories of the lovely hours we spent together.
Here then one silly and one "normal" looking picture:

On sunday we didn't really go anywhere. It was somewhat just spending time at home waiting for the time to come when I had to leave. It took us really long until we got our lazy asses up and went to some cafe. We had planned to meet with Than Thao, what I was looking forward to, but because there came something up, she couldn't make it. Sadly! I hope I will have the chance to meet her some other time.
However we went to a cafe called TENTEN. I bought a frozen milkchocolate or something like that. Don't remember the exact name what it was called. It was quite expensive for "just" smashed ice and chocolate milk, but it was really yummy! Liked it. So if you get the chance, go there to grab a drink. Hers was a Matcha, something with japanese greentea and stuff :D But I prefered mine ;)
The weekend all in all was really lovely and it was just sooo awesome to meet her! I hope I will be able to meet her again before I leave to Japan in December. I'll at least try to make it!
Next week on friday I will be going to Mannheim to meet up with Conny from ETERNAL ROCK'N'ROLL.blogspot.com
I'm really looking forward to meeting her again~♥
